About Now that my new lens gets me a bit closer to the birds in my garden, I'm seeing what I can do to capture the different birds that visit us. I did a quick look through my photos and from those and other records, we have had at least 17 different species in the last 5 years. At our last house I think we only saw about 3.

This one is a Dunnock - looks similar to the House Sparrow and is sometimes called a Hedge Sparrow but is not related to the Sparrow family.
