About Had to rely on a little flash fill here as I ran out of light just past sunset. As you can see the desert is just FULL of flowers. Better hurry out there if you want to catch them as they will probably going to be this full for only another few weeks. In my 30 years of shooting desert flowers, I've never seen anything quite this amazing.
Will post more when I return from Arizona in a few weeks. I hear Superstition Mountain area is full like this also. Can't wait :-)

Yes, specifically Cottonwood Springs. See a map. It's one of the west enterances to Joshua Tree off of Highway 10 going into Arizona.
