I call this the Chairs of Imperfection to remind us that we do not live in a perfect world and this Memorial proves that. These 168 chairs represents those that lost their lives in the OKC bombing on April 19, 1995. If you will look to your left a bit you can see on the second row a smaller chair. There are 19 of them, representing the children whose lives came short on this tragic day in Oklahoma. Something that time cannot take away.
Thank you Mark, Im glad Im doing this. It has been an emotional ride for me but I am glad it is happening. Some people may think Im all wishy washy for getting emotional over something like this, since I didn't loose anyone in the bombing, but it did effect me like it did alot of people. I am just a sentimental ol' gal and my heart hangs on my shoulder and I do have a big one. What can I say?
7++++ for sharing this rona !! looking at the little chairs and the others makes you think how life can be very cruel sometimes and to the wrong people !! well done my friend .. marky .
