About I took a paper umbrella and spun it with one hand while shooting with the other. It was neat how the center is is clear and the rest is blurred.I guess that makes the center the No spin zone! My best..........John

You hit upon a novel idea and it paid off with a great unique image image! This really captured movement and is quite cool how the low RPM at center is froze while the ever increasing RPM towards the outer edge is more and more blurred. Nice patterns.

This came out really well, beautiful composition and a beautiful swirl of color and movement. Very interesting how it stayed so in focus on the pole. I hope Johnny is doing better. Alison

Way cool, John - nice off-center composition, and interesting observation. The mix of clear/blur is intriguing. Excellent and deserves a BIP.

Thanks Lori!Always trying something different!
The back cd cover is a reflection of My Son Johnny and the cd itself is a photo I took at a concert the band played at a drug rehab for teens. It was amazing !
Thanks for the comment Lori!.............John

This photo really caught my eye. There is enought movement but not so much you lose sight of the object. Good composition too. Another way to show motion is to keep the subjet still and spin the camera while depressing the shutter.
