About Our kitchen window is a continuous source of motives. Shot this hibiscus this morning against the rising sun. Wanted first more dof, but finally preferred this one because of the vanishing background.

Thanks, Bryan, for your well thought comment. I had one with mor dof (see attachment), but didn't like the background. I know, I could have changed it, but had not the time to do so. So I took this one.

Kind regards, Markus

You have a wonderful kitchen window, Markus and you captured it well.
Thank you for your kind comments on my "Three generations", my "Dogfight at twilight" and my "Abstract colors."
Best regards,
Rafi

Markus, this is one of your best compositions. Very well framed and lovely colours. I really like the backlighting effect. A bit more DOF could have still improved it even more, I think (possibly F12 or F16). Well done.

Thanks, Inji. It's not really a spring flower, we have to keep them inside over winter, but I will post real spring flowers later today. At the moment there is a lot of garden work waiting.

Cheers, Markus

Thank you so much, Margaret. It took me a while in PS, to get the bugs out of the picture. You can still see one at the lower edge of the flower.

Kind regards, Markus
