Ha fatto tutto la natura del giorno precedente, con l'umiditā della nebbia che si é solificata durante la notte. La domenica mattina vidi il miracolo da casa e salii precipitosamente sui monti di Arosio con la speranza che il gelo non si sciogliesse prima di arrivare in zona.

It's a Birch tree. This was the fist borning tree after glaciation period. His withe treated bark was used like "paper" in the old times.
