Thanks Steve, The 2000 shutter speed is pretty normal for a really bright day, sometimes I have to actually lower the ISO and bump the app to keep it between 1000 and 2500 where I want to be, There have been times I wasn't paying attention and shooting a white bird with the sun shinning on It, looked and I was at 3500.. The sharp eye is a product of a full picture PS sharpening at around 50-1.4-1 with USM, I dont do selective sharpening....

It amazes me that you can get 1/2000 @ F8 at only ISO400. You must have great light. I love the fact you got the eye in focus (albeit a little sharpened, am I right?), the feathers are just gorgeous. When you see the sizes of their nests & the effort involved to find just one twig, it makes you wonder where they get the energy from. Driven by higher urges, I suppose!
