Part of a series of photos of glass in the Seafoam Pavilion on the Chihuly Bridge of Glass in Tacoma, Washington. Dale Chihuly is an internationally recognized glass blower. The walkway includes a covered area 20 feet by 50 feet, that has a ceiling of plate glass on which 2,364 glass forms are suspended in mid-air. Natural light is augmented on cloudy days and at night. The pedestrian bridge crosses a freeway and allows visitors access to the Chihuly permanent installation at Union Station, the Tacoma Art Museum, and the Museum of Glass.
