About My friend Erik took me here. It was his Father-In-Law's place before he sold it. When He first showed me a picture of that place in the fall I begged him to show me where it was at; now that is a true & great friend!

Great symmetry of the trees and the rock face. Nice colors. If you really wanted to pop those colors a little more you could enhance the saturation and contrast. It's beautiful there!

Nice story. Great composition and exposure. You dealt with the extreme lighting condition beautifully. Looks like a painting. What a beautiful place. Regards, Andree

Rob,
I downloaded your image to machine and took a look at the histogram. The picture looks very under exposed - notice that except for the spike at the left (which is your black frame) the histogram is very low indicating that the picture (or at least this file) is under exposed. If there were a spike towards the right too, I would suspect that the shot was exposed for the sky but that doesn't seem to be the case here. But based on your choice of camera, I suspect you already know these things. It would be interesting to take a look at the histogram of your original picture and compare it to the file you uploaded and to the file as shown on Usefilm.

Still in all, this is a great shot.
Jim

Wonderful Composition. Altho your image did loose Clarity on the upload it is plain to see you did a nice job here On a upload you may try to "save for Web"in the file menu and size your Photo, then Sharpen it, Boost any color it may of loss and then up load. I found this works most of the time .. Well Done.. Best wishes...Mark

I really like the muted tones in this shot, the fall colors are glorious, but it would be interesting to see the original. Difficult to believe that this lost color on the upload. This is another one of your photos that would look just perfect framed and hung on one of my walls.

Jim, thanks! I love this place! For whatever reason though...when I uploaded this one it lost alot of it's color and I am not sure why...the colors on the web are really muted in this one. Can you tell if you download the JPG to your desktop if the colors look different???? Thanks! I would really appreciate it!
