Generally noise is the result of low light. However, it can be used or even added as an effect. In this case, I think is adds to the mood of the shot.
If you want to get rid of noise, there is a free program you can download called Neat Image. Go to www.neatimage.com and download it. Open the picture in Neat Image and you can have it reduce the noise (speckling) for you. In this case, it probably won't get rid of all of it, but it would help.

Mark help me on this, i am so new to digital photography, i am really not sure what noise is, but after i added the photo and looked at it i was not pleased it looks like dirt marks to me. How do i avoid this?
This is very well done, Nancy. While the flowers may be ordinary, your presentation is anything but. I love the noise added to the shot. Your framing is excellent. I love the perspective.
