Thanx a lot for the advice Christine, I followed your instructions in CS and the results can be seen in my portfolio entitled "Springtime Stream" it was also my very first attempt at image manipulation as there was a lot of unwanted clutter I had to take out of the shot. Quite a turning point for me in all. No stopping me now...
Thanx again,
Pete

Hi Pete, thanks for looking at the picture of CoCo-- she's not my dog, but one of the dogs in our foster system. Lucky me, I get an endless supply of new subjects!
To get the pics resized for UF, I open them in Photoshop and then ajust the image size. Off hand I can't remember what the toolbar header is, but it's the one that has the basic contrast and hue adustments in it.
BTW, I love the pics of your dog-- a very handsome creature.

Love your shot, it's very effective. I like shooting pics of my dog too. Maybe you can help me, I have just gone digital and have bought a D70 but can't figure out how to upload my new pics onto UF as the images are bigger than the 360kb limit, how do you get around that?
Pete
