About A drab largely overcast day with muted colours yet I very much enjoy this picture which has an "S" shaped composition seemingly pivoted around the single strong post. The echoes of the tide pools peppering the beach with that of the dappled nature of the sky and the mimicry of the swirl in the sky with the shape of the pool around the post make this a beguiling image that I find very attractive and disconcertingly apocalyptic. An image that grows on you?? Please do have a look at my website www.transientlight.co.uk and at Timecatcher on www.timecatcher.com

It is kinda spooky, it's hard to believe it's real. Really satisfying.

Fantastic shot!! I love the clouds, the blue of the sky, the tan of the sand and then the vivid green of the seaweed.

The clouds reflected in the tidepools, the expanse of the beach, the placement of the post in the frame... all superb.

Excellent shot ++7. Congrats!
