About A rather uninspiring bit of city government architecture.

(The verticals are the best I can do in the time I felt the picture merited. Feel free to make your own adjustments . . . ;-)

Hi George,

I like the straight geometry composing. I would probably go for a BW version with some more "dramatic" toning ;-)

best wishes,

Thilo

Beau cadrage et, comme le dit votre titre, belle symétrie. Très beaux tons chaud/froid de NB, riches.

I think you have an interesting building here. like the different angles and strong lines. Also the stairs with the handle bars and the light post right in the middle add a lot to it. ONLY because you ask, I am giving you my humble interpretation, just added some light and some cropping, hope you don;t mind - Best regards, Rafael
PS, welcome back :)

I rather like the lines, and the stair railing leading me into it. Simple but effective. Dottie

Welcome back, George. I feel that your photo, with its severe right angles fits your caption and conveys the idea you wanted to express.
Thank you for your kind comment on my "Purim 4."
Best regards,
Rafi

This does look rather Spartan...a true Government Statement

Interesting building, and I like your interpretation of it - toned black and white suits it well, enables you to concentrate on the architecture without the distracting colours.

quite nice perfection (due to your self-severity?) :-)))

Thanks, Marcus. I think you're right about the construction. It is in a relatively old neighborhood, and so nearby there are a few 18th and 19th century houses. It does make for a striking contrast. I suppose that's why it caught my eye. --g

This is a very nice perspective George, I actully like the building as it has charactor.
from a photo standpoint it look like that just stacked the pre fab floors on top of each other.
I like the capture, very nice detail and exposure...
