Perhaps boring to 98% of usefilm.com users but I make a living from it, so...! Took this photo for my company website to illustrate the concept of prototype electronic circuit design and development, which we undertake for customers. A tiny 640x480 camera chip made by Omni-Vision placed on top of its schematic symbol on a circuit diagram. Taken last year next to a window for light on my dad's trusty 7yr/old point & shoot 1.3MP Olympus C900zoom.
Tech: 1/87th at f/4.1, 12.5mm (all according to EXIF info)

Wow this is stunning. The simplicity makes it so beautiful. The DOF is perfect, the way the lines fade in the background. I just love the contrast of the white paper against the black chip. It is funny how the lines make it seem like it is all connected.
