thx for your comment but I see here a real macro; the compo, light, colours are very nice!I wish I can have a Nikon d70 for these kind of macros!

First let me say I hope the meaningless competition doesn't end...I'm having great fun....easily amused
I can't take any credit for the background....I was to busy concentrating on getting the bees to hold still...boy are they ever ADD..
Anyway..the background was a pleasant byproduct

Boy, Larry, this is terrific! How did you get that background to behave so well--not to mention the bee? I admire the framing as well. The sharpness not only enhances the details on the insect, but it also give the tiny petals an icy iridescence. Now I'm going to have go on the hunt in my backyard. (Will this meaningless competition never end? ;-)
