Actually I have seen only a small part of your amazing country. I went to Adelide, well, really the wineries :) :) :) and a couple days in Sydney, but was incredible rushed, only time to eat and climb the bridge :) I do want to experience the Australian outback! ONe day, I hope ;) R.

Hi Larry. I increased the saturation and reduced the gamma and then duplicated the layer and used the curves to bring the foreground back to what it was and then masked out the sky to merge them back. I didn't take two images of different exposures so had to work with one image.

Yes, you get plenty of snakes and I have hit the skids on many and being chased on foot by one but you generally don't see them as often as you would think.

That sky looks like a chalk painting, beautiful. I think if I were shooting here, the grass would be blured because I would be too preoccupied with snakes in the grass.(seen too many crocodile hunter shows talking about the world's most poisonous snakes, as he reaches down and grabs one :)
