Sometimes we ARE stuck. Right place for a great photograph, but the wrong time of day. Sorry I can't help you with the polarizer, I have NO success with them either. I guess the only other thing I could suggest is to try this: set camera to aperture priority and F16, take a meter reading from the blue sky, lock that setting into manual mode on your camera and then take couple of shots ..... one at that setting, and one underexposed by closing down to F22. I don't remember who told me this, but it has worked for me. Also under-exposures are easier to work with in Photoshop. Hope it works for you, your composition is so good, I know you are on the right path.

Hi Richard, Thanks for your comments on my shots .. well I guess your absolutely right .. It was noon at the time of this shot .. I don't like shooting at that time nither but I had no choice .. If i wanted to take a shot from there well, that was the only time .. cause I was on a trip and was late ... well shooting at that time of the day has problems its self I think another problem was that I had a polarizer on .. so .. am I right ?! I'm not that good at using polarizers yet.. but I'm tryin'...
Thanks again .. Best regards,

Nice shot aLi, really well composed. I think perhaps your exposure difficulties might have more to do with the time of day this was shot. The lighting seems very harsh. I always try to shoot within an hour of sunrise or sunset to get the most complimentary lighting. I know that is not always possible, but it is what I try for.

Here's an edited version of the shot .. I tried to darken the image a bit and burn some of the overexposed parts .. I'm not that good at PS so ....

Very sentimental to see a structure obviously once full of meaning and promise, now neglected and sad. You do it honor in your picture. Best wishes, --george
