yes Hugo, i tried to bring out the detail in the trees in PS bbut i guess my skills in that department are kind of basic. The spread of lighting value for that shot was wide so i had to go with getting the sky and letting the trees be underexposed, thinking that i could improve it later in PS.....got lots of stuff to learn in that department. thanks for the critique Hugo, always good to hear what you think

Hi Tim, The cloud scape is awesome, very impressive indeed. Compared to your high standard and quality, I find the trees lacking a bit of contrast and colour; not sure if the silhouettes add to it, but the composition is, as usual, top notch.

Yes, indeed, Tim. Really wonderful clouds. We so seldom get blue skies here in Japan, and when we do, they are usually so boring--just plain blue from horizon to horizon... as you'll know from my photos. This is like the skies I remember from the U.K.

Look at those clouds! Beautiful capture. I like your vertical print. Most people just shoot horizontally when shooting the sky. Good work!
