Art supply paper...wish I had thought of that ages ago! I could use it for a background on some of the macros I shoot.

The backround is actually just some lousy paper I got from a nearby art supply store. I paid way to much for it!

Try a hammer or cleaver to open the coconut, or even throw it down onto a hard surface. If you first use an ice pick to poke holes in the 3 eyes (the spots facing the camera), you can drain the liquid to be used later in pina coladas. If none of this appeals to you, give it to a grateful cook when you are done photographing it.

I like the lighting and background grain you used here.
