Será o fim deste dia duro de trabalho para este homem ? Agora ele chega em casa ,se deita no sofá para descansar, abre uma cerveja , assiste um bom filme no seu dvd , pobre homem... ou melhor ,grande é o homem que luta todos os dias para sua sobrevivência , mesmo sabendo que sua batalha não tem fim.
Não conheço este lugar..otima foto Carmem ,retrata bem o cotidiano deste nobre e que beleza de tons !!

Beautiful rich colors, and in the middle of this 'seemingly richness' (at least in tones) there is the drab homeless man..........

é um decisive moment, se o poste atrapalha, ele estava lá... talvez o erro fosse não me abaixar e pegar todo o poste, mas ali, pegar céu é sempre perigoso. Conheço bem o lugar e estava tentando fazer uma boa composição com aquelas piramides há tempo, para a caçada do te. Se me abaixasse, prejudicaria as piramides, que, embora ao fundo, eram o meu objetivo.
Esqueci de dizer que a foto foi tirada no dia 25, dia em que Márcia Mallstrom, seu marido, Márcio e eu fizemos um mini encontro uf...
O lugar é ótimo para dias de chuva leve...hehe.

Oi Carmem!
Está ai, um lugar de São Paulo que preciso conhecer urgentemente, a Pinacoteca! O dia que eu voltar ai me levas?
Sobre a foto, gostei bastante, principalmente pelas pirâmides que ajudou muito na composição.
Mas... acredito que um bitizinho a mais de sharpen, deixaria a foto com mais profundidade, ajudando na textura da árvore e dos tijolos da Pinacoteca!
Lendo um dos comentários abaixo, o P.J. Meisch falou sobre o poste ao lado da árvore, que não combina com ela. Eu acredito que se ele não estivesse ali poderia melhorar mais ainda a foto, mas... isto é opcional, neh?
Mudando de assunto, sobre minha última foto (Av. Rio Branco), acho que falhei em não ter dito que praticamente não mexi na foto, mas... conto aqui pra vc... a única coisa que fiz nesta imagem foi ter colocado um tom arroxeado nela. As nuvens e todos aqueles efeitos são de verdade ;)

Hi Carmem, a very interesting piece of histrory in your about, As everywhere around us, this image shows contrast: with all those glorious ideas and well funded uphauls of cultture heritages, nothing can be done for the homeless man. Quite some contrast....

Excellent! The colors are so rich and the building so beautiful! The man who seems so beaten down in spirit is quite a contrast against his lovely surroundings. The lighting is phenomenal! This is truly an outstanding photo!

Excellent photo My friend!
What a beautiful building and sad story of the homeless man! I was just looking at a friends photos. His name is Hayden Kent(usefilm member) and He is a chaplin at the Atlantic City rescue mission where they house and feed hundreds of homeless and hungry people.They are only blocks from dozens of casinos wher they take in millions of dollars a day and yet there are so many starving hungry peopl ther! Sad, very sad!My Wife has gone to serve lunch there!
Poverty is everywhere!

Ahhhh... I love this image. Such impact it has... in its color, its subject matter, and the way you captured the facade of the building. Lovely. Although, cause I'm a photo shop geek ;)... I'd probably remove that pole being hugged by the tree on the left side of the image. I like how the image leads you to where the man is going....looking into his future perhaps? But, it also feels like my eyes hit a wall when I get to the ugly pole. But, of course, reality has never really been my thing. ;) Anyway, great photo!
