Hi Fred, thanks very much for your comments. I have seen a few of the spectacled owls in the wild but didn?t have my camera at the moment. This one was taken in captivity in a zoo for birds that also works as a rehabilitation center. You have an incredible portfolio. I love your red winged black bird, the borrowing owl, the rufous hummingbird, the mallard ducks, the road runners, etc, etc, etc. Keep the good work and thank you very much for sharing your images. Hola Armando. Gracias a la posicion geografica de nuestros paises, compartimos mucha avifauna. Estas especies no conocen las fronteras politicas, solamente las barreras biologicas. Esfuerzos de conservacion transfronterizos son vitales para la proteccion exitosa de estas y muchas otras especies del reino animal. Saludos.
