Thank you very much for your comment. The original version (Tower Clockworks #2M) IS still posted on Usefilm. I agree with your suggestions; the spots were white on the previous version and less noticeable.

this is magical just by the very nature of its being...clocks are part of every day and unless you are a collector we rarely get to see the inner workings of a mechanical clock any more...I applaud your post work...I went looking for the original to compare but you have apparently pulled it...no matter, I was drawn to this one; the only thing I might try to change is take the spots (ticks)near the numerals 11, 1 and between 9 and 10 and try to make those little ticks look less soalrized...the rest of the image except for some black areas looks more uniform...I might try to blacken the black a bit too...the composition works and the subject definitely holds my interest
