Very nice capture of everyday life in Viet Nam. It always amazes me the number of people that confuse the horizon line with a coastline. Thanks for your comment on Inukshuk.

A great composition, good light and shade on the sand. Interesting boat rather like a 'coracle' this is a wickerwork boat that was used mainly in Wales and Ireland.

Hi James, Thanks for your comments. This was taken on the inside (middle part) of a bay, and what you see in the background is the beach curving around to form the northern edge of the bay and a peninsula, so the horizon appears as it was. Thanks for looking. -- Naomi

Hi Yamil, Thanks for your comments. This was taken on the inside (middle part) of a bay, and what you see in the background is the beach curving around to form the northern edge of the bay and a peninsula, so the horizon should not be straight. Thanks for looking. -- Naomi

interesting way to get around naomi. never seen one of these boats before. i agree that straightening the horizon would benefit the photo, but sometimes you straighten one thing and something else becomes crooked. hard to judge sometimes.... well done at any rate ~ james

Nice shot, I like how you captured the expression of the gentleman, he's more concentrated with the labor at hand. Well done! -- Cheers, Rafael

Nice captured moment, Naomi. Very unique boat. Traditional technology often amuse me...:)
