About Yes im back to flora! But with a change this time!!!
thanx to hugo I used high ISO to shoot in low light! I was so terrified of increasing the iso but this morning I was too lazy to go and get the tripod so I used the highest ISO 1600!!!
But how could I reduce the grain?

Beautiful! I would add just a bit more gamma.
To remove the grain try Neat Image... it works greatly. ;-)

hi Arwa
beautiful abstract, very nice work
and the edited version is excellent
some grain is ok, but if you want to eliminate, there are many ways to reduce the grain beside the neat image (I myself never use neat image ), like history art brush in PS. and I heard the newest version of PS (CS2 ?) it already include the noise reduction tools.

cheers,
cessy

It doesn't do away with all the grain. When the algorithm goes that far, the pictures tend to look obviously retouched, and when you have two option choose the best which is 100/200 ISO and a tripod. Certainly if you have time you can find a lot of software for this purpose. What the eye need is one tiny part in focus or at least sharp details, but believe me this is the way how we improved. Dear yasargun!
Thank you for your comment, but I couldn?t read it, maybe your writing in a language that my laptop doesn?t support? But all I got was numbers and signs
"Başarılar... "
But thank you for passing by!
And welcome to usefilm ;)

Before my tripod I used to use my younger brothers heads shoulders, boxes anything lol
But the tripod did help a lot in night images and when I want to use slow shutter!
thank you for your comment mark!

Dear Arwa, It looks great - very original - no need to reduce the grain. See what kind of magical shots you can get when you don't use your tripod - I'm not a big tripod fan except for studio work (but I have been known to turn the top of a car with a sweater on it as a "tripod" when traveling :~) ) Very nice work, Mark

lovely DOF, the grain is not that bad

neatimage helps to reduce it but sometimes photos look artifcial like plastic

I like the more vivid color (and there will probably be others who don't, we're all so different)

I like this one the best!!

arwa abdullah   {K:34415} 4/21/2005
Hi chris!!!! I know what your saying! It was hard for me to keep the editing to minimum in the first place
My preferences are either black and white or vivid blasting colors
I read the description of the project but still I didn?t get the ?for effect? part?what effect are they talking about? just the grain?

Chris Spracklen   {K:32552} 4/21/2005
Almost an abstract, Arwa.
I think I slightly prefer the edited version, although that one wouldn't fit so well into the 'grainly film' project! )
Best regards, Chris

Oh. lovely focus and flower close-up dear Arwa!

Lori Stitt   {K:75282} 4/21/2005
HI Arwa,
I think I prefer some of your other works..
This one isn't quite sharp enough, and my eye wants to see brighter color..
But that's just me, we all have different preferences. Perhaps if there was more light into the center of the flower... :) :)

Thanx for the tip lori!
Im running a search for neatimage right now! :)
You don?t like it that much do you?
Is it too dark? jammed? too typical?
LOL im really falling apart here aren?t i

Lori Stitt   {K:75282} 4/21/2005
Hi arwa,
Nice shot.
Download 'NeatImage' (free) for the grain/noise. It works!
Lori :)

arwa abdullah   {K:34415} 4/21/2005
Thanx for erkoc your comment!
i just went to check on the flower to shoot it in a lower ISO with more light but it was untangled! its strange how fast a flower blooms! In about 10 hours it looks completely different! :)

erkoc dalaman   {K:4295} 4/21/2005
successful.congrats...I' m not sure if there's a way to reduce grain at high iso..If so I would also like to know more about it..
