About The roots of a strangler fig engulfing it's host and slowly suffocating it. The host (any other tree) is used for stabilising the young seedling and in the process totally suffocated after several years. Original slide slightly cropped, sepia tone added in PS plus a bit of grain.

So pleased to have discovered your amazing work. This is captivating. The title, textures, lighting and colours so striking. Makes the suffocation almost holy!

Nature can be nasty in its wonder can't it? Your manipulations have given this that textured feel, the sepia tone and the light go well together!
