About
These fish were 12 and 13 pound fish caught out of Rufus Wods Lake. They are called triploids because the eggs were put under 10,000 pounds of pressure squeezing the chromosome to make them XXX. That makes them sterile and they never sapwn but continue to grow. They are commercially raised in net pens and some do escape or are planted and grow to huge size. Some will get to over 30 pounds. They are heavy fighters and are great eating fish.
