Howard, I like the composition, you did a nice job picking up the detail of the snow also. It?s not too often that most people see tulips in this type of environment, unless of course you live in Michigan. I remember that week, one day it?s sunny and 70 and the next we get 4 inches of snow. I went out shooting that same day to try and capture on film the things people just normally don?t see surrounded by snow. Something that say?s something doesn?t look right here, but what is it, oh yeah? flowers don?t bloom int the winter?

wonderful, howard. I never get to see tulips paired with snow where I live-- this is a lovely shot-- very good exposure with the snow and the deeper red, too.
