Thanks for visiting my porfolio. I just started taking pictures in January, so am very new at all this. Using my telescope, however, is something I am very comfortable with. It was a natural to put the two together.
One word of caution, if I may, about buying a telescope. There are so many differnt ones out there. I suggest you look carefully before you buy. You want to be sure to get the one that best suits you. There are scopes in people's closets gathering dust instead of light as people bought and then got frustrated as they didn't know how to use them properly. Buy at a reputable telescope store. Department stores and camera shops are not it as the personnel (usually)do not have telescope experience. Also, most telescope stores will have good used ones as people upgrade. There are websites with good information for first time buyes. I'll stop preaching now. Take care.

thanks Mary....I just spent 20 minutes in your portfolio....wow very nice work and I wasn't living in NY right now would be out the door shopping for a telescope to take my own 'moon shots'
Moving to Florida in a couple of months..if the night sky is better there will certainly get into it then....great work
