Wow perfect timing, paul.
The light, the composition and the rainbow all add to a lovely capture.

Ha!
Thanks!
This was just me being sloppy and hasty in replying - again!

Yes, the gentle sun, the way it envelopes and caresses the harsh cranes...

Hey, I didn't say anything about the sun for it's plain obvious! It wouldn't look half that good otherwise.

Yes, indeed, though--for me--this particular image is not that symbolic. It is nice mainly because of the light and the rainbow, and for my own personal nostalgic reasons - seeing buildings being built - rather than the angle or anything being particularly striking.

Cranes and darkness are nicely symbolic.
And I see them every day.
(A crane nearly smashed my living room window on Monday!)

I've been putting my eyes on construction sites all the time being hesitant to shoot. Now, I did with a newly acquired (for pennies) RolleiFlex 3.5 Planar (1959 vintage toy).
There is something that draws us in when you see this construction symbolism. At least, it happens to me.

Nice work, I like it a lot. I have made couple of shoots of nearby cranes in the last of the sun, too. Came out too dark and I have to find a way to shoot detail out of the dark.
