City - Loveland Pass, Out the Window Going 40MPH State - COLORADO Country - United States
About
the Valley Floor of Loveland Pass shot in my snowboarding gear holding the cam out the window going 40MPH up the pass to the mid station. Park the car and start our 45 min hike around the ridge and up to 12,000 feet aprox. a 3.0 mile hike into the backcountry in heavy snow and were ready to drop in and make fresh tracks which you can view from previous uploads... scouting area's all the time, in hopes of fresh poweder into july
Given that I only have the thumbnails to go on I would say that the blues in the final image are obviously more pronounced, which is nice, but you have lost some of the foreground, i.e. the car tracks. It was the tracks that drew me to commment in the first place, so I guess I prefer the first pic! Just my opinion of course!
Hope you don't mind, but I had a little play with this, see below; a couple of passes through Nik neutral density filter to lighten the foreground and darken the sky. Cheers, Steve.
ha ha ha, thanks steve, i didnt do to much to the image, just adjusted mid levels and made the coloring a bit more acurate, there is more detail in the mountains brought out with the level adjustments, as i wished i could have uploaded them side by side..
