That is a horrible story but with a happy ending.
I could easily write a paragraph on this, but that's not fair to you either.
In a way it is a part of American Culture.
Thanks MErt Y

Security sign is rather neat Mark, nicely seen and captured.

That's a meaningful photo Mark. Thanks for sharing it with us.
It's meaningful. But the meaning is a bit weard. People know that they are watched and listened and they keep trying to go to that restaurant? That must be the culture. I don't think I can understand this case.
And the name of the photo... "Play Nice" It's remarkable. I thought about a little girl with the name Leyla when I first read that name...
5 years ago a 10 years old girl has been locked the girl in the refrigerator with the intention of killing her by the staffers of a McDonald's restaurant. Her fault was selling packs of tissues to customers around the restaurant.
what I trying to tell is that McDonald's does not "Play Nice"!
PS: Leyla has been psychologically treatened for one year. Then she accepted for a scholarship by a private school. Last year, she is graduated from the elemantary school with honor degree. She is now in highschool and she wants to study law...

And the name of the photo. I like the name you give the photo. I remebered a little girl called Leyla when I first read the name.
5 years ago the staff of a McDonald's Restaurant locked the girl in the refrigerator with the intention of killing her. Her fault was trying to sell packs of tissues to customers at the burger outlet. http://www.guardian.co.uk/international/story/0,3604,360357,00.html
So what I trying to say is: McDonald's does not "Play Nice".
PS: Last news about the little girl. She was psychologically treated for one year. After that she got a scholarship for her education. Last year she was graduated from elementary school with honor degree. She is in highschool right now and want to study law.

Now there's a social commentary: what have we become? (And what good would this do except after the fact?) Good eye, Mark.

Interesting how you see/photograph ? you alternate but keep going back to a central sensibility? ?Security ?? ?In plain sight?, ?Red? ?modern problems? a few others? and now ?Play Nice? - keen observation, linkage and esthetic whimsy between them - much to look at! Catchy images ? a Mark Sherman stamp throughout.

It's more for the "don't steal our kids" I think, but all the same...sad to think that we'd even need such a notice. :(
