Lindisfarne is a great spot and possibly my favourite place in England.. I love any photos of the area an have good memories of every trip to the island... Thanks for sharing this!

I suppose I meant that I wasn't sure what to look at, the foreground or the island; I think the foreground is more dominant and therefore the main subject. Maybe I'm just being pedantic and anal! ;~}

Nice one Sue,your sky is better than mine,I think
the focal poin is the Lindisfarn Priory.It dosnt
hit you strait away though.But I do!!!!!!!like the foure ground!!!!!! you have two pictres in one.Good for you well done Sue.!!!!!Uncle Bob.

I have many photo's of Lindisfarne & will post some more soon... this one was a different viewpoint of the Castle... thought it worked really well.

Great sky, big sky country up there isn't it?
I think I'd have chosen a different viewpoint though; there is so much great detail in the ruins I'd like to have seen more of that - with the island in the background if possible.
