Very well captured Christine!The focuspoint is right on the head. I think this is a female dung-fly. The females have a greener color than the males and less hair. The males are bigger with more hair, they are also more yellow colored.

Thanks, Armando-- it's actually a bud from the "Geez..." photo-- pretty small. Some sort of fly, looks more like a fruit fly than a regular one, but larger.

is It your finger as say Mary Brown?? or is a petal??? if is your finger the insect is biger than a bee, but for his face maybe is a type of fly, Im not sure, but is an excellent macro pic, congrats my friend
