About	Photographed on the banks of river Kabini, at Nagarhole National Park. While it may look as if these elephants are walking, actually these wild pachyderms are feeding, and they use their legs to collect grass from the ground. On close observation you will find a small bunch of grass in it's trunk!

This is a wonderful photo. I love all wildlife but for some reason these huge gentle creatures have a special place in my heart. Thankyou so much for sharing this great moment with us.

Good photo (for a BW Neg, as it says under - Film). Kidding. Nice shot from shadows. Funny how elephants seem to smile. But doesn't seem as if it would be much to eat.
