Excellent!!!! A mand-made cable web, I like the perspective, although being in a moving car, it was probably the only angle you had. The detail of the clamps holding the cable is great! -- Well done George! -- Rafael

Yeah, Carlos, I think it is a horizontal image. At least what I saw was more the diagonal cables than the vertical tower. About the brightness/contrast/pop/whatever, I remain puzzled. I use a dual monitor setup, and the images are noticeably better on the main one that I calibrate regularly. I am beginning to wonder if the color space has anything to do with it as I have heard. I just tried assigning the generic "Color Match RGB," and the picture got VERY bright on my main monitor. I am beginning to think that it well might be the color space that is operating here. This might be an interesting Forum topic. Or maybe it really is a matter of taste. Still, I don't find your images especially over-bright. Anyway, the search goes on! Thanks again. It's good to question what we do and try to learn from it. --g

Soon it will be MOST Higherest! George....Really COOL capture...great lines and sense of depth hard to get when you're pointed up even more challenging from a moving car.
I am most envious

Hi George the space the tower occupies in the picture demands a vertical treatment! But now that I cropped it, the image appears somewhat discordant without the anchored lines - your presentation maybe be best! It is a bright, bright day but the shot appears flat in my monitor and it may benefit from that ?extra pop?. Then again it could be a question of uneven calibration here! But I think not as I recall the lighting designers from the old theater days trying to ?adjust?, to offer an alternative, to the natural inclination for the ?somber, modulated tones?.
Best regards, always.
