Onur is right, the DOF is the thing. It's deliberate. My focus is on the legs and the line from the foreground leads the eyes there (I hope so). Thanks for the comment, it's appreciated!

i think fuzziness is from the DOF, and it's good. it seems that you used tele-end, i like the idea on the image, well done Edward!

wow, what evocative feet.
was the fuzzy focus in the foreground the scanner's fault?
You might want to crop that out.
