About Staring at the blank page in front of me
I wonder what to write.
With pen in hand and pages ready,
I try with all my might.

My mind wanders back to times before
when you were here, in my life.
Our times were good with smiles aplenty
and love was there like a shining light.

Our hands were linked as were our thoughts
Walks on the beaches, the sun ashining.
Picnics in the park, with birds above.
The world was ours, or so I thought.

Times then darkened as day to night.
You moved away to another land.
With letters we wrote unto each other.
And waited for them patiently to reach our hand.

But as time went on, I knew within.
That life has to go on.
So with this pen I write to you,
as an artist would write a song.

It is over now, me must part.
That final step, our hardest task.
But we must continue our lives alone,
to grow and reach our separate dreams.

Goodbye my love, I will never forget.
The times we had within our hearts.
Through these times we have grown.
So feel proud, not sad, with our parting.

i would like to talk about the poem as the person in the image is giving a very deserted look which shows the impact of sepration....as the last two paragraphs very much as it is very hard to talk about sepration to from love it is almost impossilble if the love is sincere..but their is season to everthing and everthing changes i feel we want to relish the same moment of yesterday we want to see the same love in his eyes that which the beloved saw yesterday in his eyes this is where the problem is one should grow out of this repetion and from ur poem i feel this is the juice that comes out in the two paragraph we as a person can live a life of rainbow loving the strange world around us ....i heard we can use our lover to reach to the ultimate consiousness which is death and which is life and it continous between these two doors ...a lover can make u divine he himself becomes divine then how would u think of sepration then u will see ur lover in each being sepration is from body but u can enjoy his essence in everyone around u if u are real lover like the photographer he is not prejudice to the sceen in front so is the lover in love mira says i can feel my krishna in everthing around me i am drunk with him...he and me are not seprate beautiful woman she was ...i want to stop this is going on words keep coming ....good work judi

On the poem, Judi. I expressed myself poorly. I meant that I hoped the sad feeling the prompted the poem was long gone. Best wishes, Larry

Waow, i don't know what is more impressing the poem or the picture! But since this site is about picture's ill talk about that! (did you wrote the poem you're self???)
The emotion speaking from the look of the women in the picture is really really strong. The dark brown eye's (maybe a bit in tears) and the choice of no colours is really really strong. The women right is thinking wat is really nice expressed as well. The composition, a face a leter and again a figure is wonderfull, really works for me, compliments!

Greets,
Lex.

Oh Good Heaven's dont be embarrassed. It's wonderful. That is how some of the best poetry is created. That's how I do mine. Working on a pic and all of a sudden the words are there and I stop and write. If I think about one it just doesnt work. Bravo!

Judi Liosatos Judi Liosatos   {K:34047} 5/12/2005
Thanks Rona. Yes, that poem is mine. I am a little embarassed to say that I quickly wrote that in under 5 minutes while I was creating the image. I had the image in mind and as I was getting the images I needed together the words came to me so I stopped what I was doing and just scribbled them onto a piece of paper. That is what normally happens with my poems...LOL!!

Technically unexceptionable, you represented perfectly a romantic and very personal mood/feeling. It could be ideal as the play-bill of a film.

you know it's weird , your words put me back to '89 when i went overseas without greg... THE longest 7 weeks of our lives and i thought it would never end or worse, i thought something might happen to one of us while we were apart.... i really thought we may never see each other again..... all those feelings were so strong at the time... but as time passes you forget about it, your words put me right back there and has made me realise how content and happy i am right now.....
that is why i said 'thanks'.... i am getting off this computer right now and going to sit with him on the lounge while he is watching his fav show..." The footy Show'...lol....
thanks again.... great emotions...
hugs
