Thank all of You for nice comments. Special thanks and congratulations for Arwa Abdullah for very nice and brilliant comment, because comment, not the shot, was awarded on the home page. Nice to have Your comment under my work. Regards, Robert.

This is a beautifully composed photograph with brilliant colors and smooth bokeh.
Personally I might just sharpen it a wee bit to bring out that web and spider a bit more.
Congratulations to both of you for making it front page.
Best Regards,
Saqib Zulfiqar

congrats for being on front page with this spider shot, they are such interesting insects. This is a combination macro abstract. Great backlighting through web and legs of subject.

Arwa said it well with regards to the journey. This one holds my eye not only for the detail in the spider's legs (which is beautiful and also rather like the thrill we get from a horror movie), but also the lack of detail in the two at the top. Now that might be the photographer in us -- always looking to see the how and why as well as the beauty. Bottom line...the image fascinates. Very nice colors between spider and background. The web looks so fragile for him, and my what looooooong legs he has! Congrats on being featured on the home page. :) Antonia

Nice spider macro Robert. Excellent clarity. You might of tried using a little fill flash to bring out a little more of the spidy's beautiful highlights. I do like it though, great dof.

Imageopolis Featured Photo Critique A wonderful spider image!
excellent DOF!
the way his back ? or are they the frontal- legs seems to be behind the net is an excellent way to lead the viewer back into the spider!
So the way I saw it was! first looked at the head around his legs clock wise to the back feet and back into his head! Love it! :)
