Nice idea for a portrait. To me this is more like a fashion style of a portrait. I like the area and lighting that you choosed to use. However, I think that to view you looking at me would be much more powerful to us viewers. If you did that to this image, this would be considered to me as more of a self portrait. Great texture aswell, B&W with a sepia look adds to you aswell. Photography is awounderful tool and etc. I seen your children portraits and they are really nice images. I C a style forming in you children work already. You can get a degree in the field and its an awsome experence and etc...
