About	no the horse was NOT doing 40 MPH...the photographer was.... taking shots from moving car..shooting at 1/1000 sec..gave me pretty good results.

hey Robert thanks for all your comments....
about the D-SLR's maybe in a year or 2 when there cheaper and SMALLER I will break down and get one.
Actually I just came in from an hour or so of taking pictures I will use to make a gift for our Mayor at a birthday party this June.
I used my Minolta A2 and also my new Nikon N75 (film) SLR with a 70-300mm lens. The film shots will be ready in an hour and the digitals as soon as one of my batteries is charged so I can upload to computer.
It should be interesting to see both the digitals (from an $800 camera and the film shots from a
$300 set up) check it out later today if you like.

nice shot again joe very good at 40mph i could live here looks a lovely place . and i agree with you about the cost of a good digital camera . can cost alot of money for memory and lenses .. but ther best thing about digital it saves time shot shoot and load into your pc ..
