About A nice pair of former racing greyhounds, these two were saved as part of an adoption program. They make truly wonderful pets, and many people adopt two or three. These were at the recent dog show.

These two look like fun and hard work as well, I know that because my sister used to have two of thse dogs; both retired racing dogs. She had to be really careful taking them for a walk as they rather liked chasing the neighbours cats...
This is a very good picture showing the lively nature of these animals, they aint gonna pose for you!

This is a fantastic portrait! i like how they are looking on opposite direction, a bit of a criss-cross pattern here. Great detail. Excellent work George!!! -- Kind regards, Rafael

the dog in the bottom part was not visible to me from the thumbnail so I guess it was a further dog shot and did not open the image; today I noticed the title and look better and see the other one in a so nice composed manner, very nice George good one

Beautiful shot of those greyhounds. Are you going to adopt someone? Great details and colors.
Thanks for your kind comment in my first pic.

Extraordinary dogs, beautiful runners! I?ve heard about the program you refer to and I?m happy this two escaped the cruel and unfair fate of so many others.
I always appreciate the intimate, close-up manner you choose to photograph animals - here the diagonal crossing of the two creates a visually startling image but also poignant because of the about. Excellent to present the shot large as is?

Other than the leashes being all over the place, this is a really good shot. W/O them though, they would probably take off! You've managed to capture both dogs' emotions in one great shot. Well done!
