Hey Antonia, ISO 100 for sure which makes life easier in the post processing, but sometimes there's no way but to use a higher one especially when there's no tripod. Thanks very much for the nice comment!

Ringside seat! It's just like a show, that lake and sky -- you have all the fun when it comes to those skies. Is it ever sunny? This is just right in BW -- nicely composed and perfectly toned IMHO. Antonia

This is not just an excellent image for a talented photographer , but there is a deep philosophy behind your photos dear Fadel !! I could feel it in all your work !! such this empty lonely chair facing an endless horizon , the glorious dramatic sky , the dark mysterious area in the right side , the choice of B&W or burnable sepia tones in all your photos atract me & push me to meditate in this very unique world of your photos !! Thank you so much my dear for adding me to your friends list , it's a great pleasure to me ,I was in a three weeks vacation & wasn't informed by UF about it , I didn't get any mail telling me that , just seen your name on viewing my friends list & was a pleasant surprise waiting me on my return ! Best regards.

Your vision and talent showcased once more in this incredible B/W with superb tonal range. A simple scene yet your ability to infuse it with life and provoke contemplation in making us look at the basics in a whole new way are truly unsurpassed Fadel. (Ummm, your bio-amateur?? hardly, your pic-what a cutie :-) )

This is really interesting, sort of absurd, like the fake chair is on stage in the middle of the dramatic landscape. Nice contrast!

Fadel, another outstanding shot.
I just noticed that you've got a wider zoom. I was just thinking the other day that a shorter focal length would yield some really nice results.
You haven't disappointed.
;o)
Really good stuff and always looking forward to it.
As an aside, I don't know if you've considered it... but making some of these images available for prints might be something too look into.
I'm still just in a learning/snap shot phase and wouldn't know where to point you towards. But I'm sure there are some on the site that earn their living from their talent. I honestly think your work is very unique and could at the very least get some recognition from magazines and/or other media.
All the best.

Hey Cheryl, the wide angle gives totally different dimension and scale to close objects, and that creates a big impact I guess because that's not how we're used to see things with our eyes. it's really interesting and I love it. So I guess to answer your question, it's the lens :)

When it comes to low angle just point your finger to Fadel, that?s your specialty ,excellent perspective and composed elements, I like the lonely chair its a sign of two things a good season on its way or abandoned place due to dramatic weather, certainly an attractive capture. Saeed
