I considered B&W, but: 1) there's not much separation between foreground and background via DOF, so I think color is needed to delineate them, 2) the "genre" I'm thinking about ("slice-of-life" suburban Americana quirkiness) is usually presented in color as far as I can tell, 3) I think color may be an important component of the quirky "kitschness" of this and any other "Backyard" series shots I may be posting. Thanks for your comments..:)

LOL!!! Glad to see I'm not the only one posting pics of little boys in batman undies!!!!:)))) Though I have never paired them with a pink, flowery camisole top! Quite a "unique" look he's got going there, Mike!!! :)))
Just too cute! BTW, have you tried this in BW? Seems perfect for the genre...

Yes, I was going to say that this had a sort of vintage 60's or 70's feel to it; but I always say that about pictures so I didn't. :)

What I liked about it was the quirky, Americana or "suburban life" feel. I know it's quite a different style from my normal shots, but I'd hate to limit myself..;)
