Hi Ho, Nikki,
Very effective use of out of focus are to merge the spider with the tap, sinking it into the illusory web, congrats!presented a nice mystery to me!
Except for keeping the spider in place I don't know if your hand needed to be there, I reckon it could be a case of simpler being better. I may be a bit touched but I'd be able to have a nice dream about the spider then somehow, if it was alone on your stage, It'd be a lot more mysterious.
