It's a shame how many of these old places have fallen into rack and ruin.
Nice shot, Richard.
Kind regards, Chris

Thanks Mary. This is one of my favourite areas to shoot, although I do prefer the dreariness of November as a backdrop.

Thanks Maria. It was much later in the day than I usually shoot. Almost 10:00 A.M.!!!!

Thanks Rebecca, it is a magical place. You can almost feel the ghosts, of the only family who ever lived there. I'm not so sure about colour/b+w though. All that GREEN really bothers me. I'll try again in November.

Yup. This confirms it. The color does it for me on this place :) I think it's because of all the carious hues in the stonework. I love the composition. Lovely shot!

Thanks Femke. The plan would be to turn the ruins into a gift shop. I think we have more than enough golf courses in the area, and I would like to see this spot preserved. There is an organization dedicated to stop the development of the area, and I have offered my support.

Nice picture, I hope they don't pull this down when it becomes a golf course. It's a pity when all old stuff must disappear for something new.We must be careful about this. Anyway, your photo is well taken. regards Femke
