This is our first, but hopefully not last meeting on the pages of "Usefilm" Mr (?) MCHK. Please forgive me for having put the qustion mark in brackets after the initials of what I suppose to be your name, because although I'm almost sure that you are a man, I'm not quite sure. Your bio gives away no details about your personality except for your habits of taking photo and posting them. The latest photos you posted were taken at Tasmania, Australia, so I suppose you are from there and that you travel a great deal. Many of the places you took photos of I am familiar with, but as the photos from there were taken with film cameras, they have to wait for their turn to be posted. I also travelled quite a lot until recently, (Malaisia was, of course out of bound for me, as I carry an Israeli passport), Japan, Holland and many other places you posted photos from I am more or less familiar with. I took a photo similar to the one you posted above at Nikko and had a hard time telling which side was up because unlike in your photo there were no pictures on the Sake bottles and my Japanese is non-existent. Like all your other photos this one is well composed and informative. You are, of course, invited to read my bio, which will tell you that I am a psychoanalyst and pay further visits to my portfolio. In the meantime I thank you for your very kind comment on my "Striking roots" and what it stands for and please forgive my ignorance about your identity. Best regards, Dr. Rafael (Rafi for future communications) Springmann
