I particularly like the effect of the "glow" apparently caused by de-saturating the pic... Also, nice grab of the single filament of the spider-web...in-progress ;o)

Interesting work here. The bloom takes on a different look entitrely from the color version. The details become the subject rather than the color. In this case, I am fascinated by the wisp of--what?--web across the top.
