Let me add one more to that thought - provoking stairs... I too am fasinated by stairs. This composition (attachment) done a few thousand miles away in Goa, India. I couldn't miss the similarities...

slight PS work... but doing too much of a tone adjustment to make the make the white in the background softer would've changed the good tones that come out of the stairs and the wall. I'm actually fine with the way it is, I think it adds more drama to the shot with the bright white in the back. Thanks for the comments!

An absorbing shot. I imagine it was a tough exposure problem, going from dark to bright. Did you have to do any PS work with it?
