I used some blending layers in Photoshop to increase the contrast in the foreground, and also soften the trees in the distance.

It is a train!
Ok well seriously it is a well composed image with the platform and station buildings framing the image and the tracks leading the eye to the train entering into the station. Nice details of the flag and the yellow sign add a touch of colour to the darkness of the track and buildings
