Dear Gayle, Really like this one, has a nice, moody feel to it. Looks like a still out of a film. Great composition as usual - Take Care, Mark

Oh yes, color fringing. That's the word, Hansi. It's when the glass isn't color-corrected and what happens is the reds, blues and greens do not all focus right on the film plane. They focus either behind, in front of, or on the film plane.

Hi Gayle; I saw your email on Y____, but I can't open it. Every time I try to open, I get disconnected. Could be a script error in Y___, as I was told.

Aha, Mark gave me the word: Color fringing - it looks superb, Gayle. Very neat and reduced color play between the top glow and the watery blue.

The color fringing is great, and typical of one-time-use "disposable" cameras we've been using in the community camera projects at you know where.

Poetic and storybook Gayle. The darkened landscape does not dispel the inviting quality of the tranquil pond and the warmth of the little house. Very picturesque.

Details are a mute point in this tranquil image Gayle. You have captured the mood perfectly, anything else would distract. Super! Regards--Bill Voizin

I like how you emphasize the quality of light by softening all the details. Another dream vision.
